2010 Australian Grand Prix
25 Mar to 28 Mar 2010

The Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit is a street circuit around Albert Park Lake, only a couple of kilometres south of central Melbourne. It is used once a year as a racetrack for the Australian Grand Prix and associated support races.

The circuit utilises everyday sections of road that circle Albert Park Lake, a small man-made lake just south of the Central Business District of Melbourne. The road sections that are used were rebuilt prior to the inaugural event in 1996 to ensure consistency and smoothness. As a result, compared to other circuits that are held on public roads, the Albert Park track has quite a smooth surface.

Please note Children 12 years and under accompanied by an adult holding a general admission ticket, will be provided with free access to the general admission area only.  No free entry to grandstand areas for children, they have to purchase a grandstand ticket.

The race will start at 1700 local time.

Please note that tickets purchased  from this week, will have to be picked up at the circuit
